  1. Going to have to stick with 1.5.0 :(
  2. thanks - using 1.4.x at the moment. But will have a look
  3. How can we move the advert in the header across to the right? Currently on a 1024x768 display it is in the middle and partially over our logo. Thanks.
  4. no, just group permission. So if a member is part of 'x' group they do not get shown adverts, that group might be primary or secondary. It encourages people to become part of that group and I am sure it will encourage others to buy your mod who wish to do that. For my part I would be more than happy if people talk about adverts/ google etc., on the IPS forums, to point them your direction and to demonstrate how I have it working on my site :)
  5. That would help with our ordinary members yes, however as mentioned above it makes more sense (to me anyway ;) ) if adding a general feature who to not allow permissions to use. I know I am not the only person with some paying members and whilst we could make all moderators and staff in the primary group of 'Gold' they prefer to be badged as Admins or Mods. With a fairly large forum, I cannot give no ads to 30 or 40 people free when members are paying to have no ads. Perhaps add an option to hide ads from 'x' group? Would that be possible? My problem is there are only two people who have released such mods you and the person named in your sig ;) Having paid for yours, I would rather keep my business here :) Equally so I need the ads and people paying to hide them to go towards my server costs etc., It is a vicious circle :(
  6. Thanks - going to need to look at alternative scripts that hopefully will base the permissions on exclusion rather than inclusion. I cannot give admins, staff moderators and indeed other groups all no adverts just because one of them is in the gold group. Thanks anyway and I will keep yours installed in the hope you will reserve the method.
  7. Thanks - but that doesn't really help. So what you are saying is your script will not allow moderators who are also gold members from to not see the adverts. Obviously they could not go into a separate group, as they need moderator rights. I am sorry, but that is daft. :(
  8. Hi, Further to the above, even if a member is 'Gold' as the primary group, and if they are part of the members group, they still get the adverts. This is prevent us from hiding the adverts from those who have contributed :( How can we get around this? Many thanks.
  9. Hi, The script is stripping any leading 0 off the google add number - I used a different number and it was okay. How does one remove the header bar from the advert that can display above the forums and below the nav bar - it doesn't seem to hide. Does this script recognise sub-groups? Problem is we have Gold Members who I do not wish to show the ads to - but from testing it would appear that the ads show if they are say moderators or staff. Finally where does the google search show, as I cannot see it anywhere ;) A couple of suggestions - maybe an answer to my 'gold members' issue above. 1) Can permissions be reversed - i.e. do not show adverts to x group(s) & do not show ads in x forums - after all the whole idea of this script is to display adverts so it would make sense to declare who to hide them to - also with a large number of foums it is easier to exclude. 2) It perhaps would be nice to be able to display a sing line beneath the adverts to say advertise a premium group to hide all adverts. Thanks.
