It has come to our attention that a XSS (Cross Site Scripting) attack is possible within the Admin CP. The javascript is only executed when viewing the detailed pop-up of a specific failed admin log in. This issue exists in all IP.Board 3 versions. We recommend that everyone using these versions apply this simple one file patch. Simply download the zip for your IP.Board version, expand the zip on your computer and upload the file to the relevant folder on your server. The directory structure is maintained in the zip so you will have no issues finding the file. If you need assistance, please contact technical support. External image uploader for CKEDitor in IPB 3.x. Extends IP.Board 3.x visual editor by adding additional "upload" tab to "Image" dialogue. Images are being uploaded and inserted into posts as "img" tag with direct link to uploaded image file. No access control, simple limitations. Perfrect solution for uploading inline illustrations. Check readme.txt for installation instructions. Not a modificatoin, cause no file edits are needed, but a more functional replacemend for "image" CKEditor's plugin. IP.Board 3.1.x and Applications: End of Life Announcement So that we can focus all of our development, support, and service efforts on the newest version 3.3, we are announcing the end of support (sometimes called end of life or EOL) for the following IPS software versions (and earlier versions): IP.Board 3.1.x IP.Blog 2.2.x IP.Gallery 3.2.x IP.Downloads 2.2.x IP.Content 2.0.x IP.Chat 1.1.x IP.Nexus 1.1.xTechnical support, installations, and services will end for these products on August 1, 2012. On that date all technical or service requests will be advised to simply upgrade to the most recent versions of the products. We will not force upgrades but will also not be able to diagnose issues or answer questions relating to the older software. Also, on that date, IPS will no longer address any new issues or bugs reported in the older software versions. You are of course free to continue using these older versions if you wish but IPS will no longer provide assistance after the EOL date. Security Updates In the event an issue is discovered impacting the security of these older versions of the software, IPS will provide a patch posted in our announcements forum. We will continue to provide security updates for several months after the EOL date based on severity of the issue. Internet Explorer 7 Support We announced our plans to start phasing out support for Internet Explorer 7 in December 2010 and have been slowly doing so. This is a clean light 2 column skin. The base color is light blue. The skin should be compatible with all official IPB apps. Included in the zip: Skin Files Images Readme with installation instructions This skin was developed on 3.2.3 and it might not work on prior versions of 3.2. To get the forum images to show if some are missing you need to get the id's of each of you forums. Once you have that you need to ftp to your public/style_images/columns/forums-imgs folder and rename the images to match the forum id's. If you have forum with an id of 10 and if there is no 10.png no image will show. Just rename one of the images to 10.png and the image will now work. Alternatively you could download your own images and name them by id number. 0.2 fixes a problem when guest posting was enabled and I also cleaned up the userinfo template.
