    I thought I'd write a quick blog entry on some updates for my products. So far my (NG30) Global Ads mod is completely encoded and ready for download from the Client Center. The mod also requires a single file that is missing from the archive to function properly. To get this file, you must request it from me after purchase and I will need your website URL so I can encode that file with your domain name. I will soon be updating (NG30) Rotating Banners with a similar script.
     
    Also, if you have recently downloaded any of the files for Global Ads, please re-download them as they have been updated.
     
    And I just want make a few things clear from the terms & conditions policy. The items listed here have always been the same since I released my first product back in August of 2009.
     

    Support is renewed at 6 Month increments. Renewals start at $10 USD.
    Support can be accessed from the green Live Support button at the top of the forum and website, by PM, by Email at support[@]tiberiumstudios[DOT]net, and from the support topics.

     
    Those are the only two terms I have had for all my products. The reason I do the Support & Upgrade service is because it helps keep the development process going.
     
    I also want to introduce two new License Options for (NG30) Global Ads and (NG30) Rotating Banners.
     
    (NG30) Global Ads Unlimited Lifetime Licenses & (NG30) Rotating Banners Unlimited Lifetime Licenses
     
    With these license services, you can use the products on as many IP.Board Installations as you want. As always, there is an agreement that you must agree to before using the service or product. That section is displayed at the end of the products description. But I will add the disclaimer to this blog entry.

    I thought I'd make a blog entry on the development progress for (NG30) Global Ads.
     
    At the moment, I am trying to turn the whole mod into an actual full fledged application. Right now it seems to have been going very smoothly up until I tried adding the settings into the Applications' ACP page, but it doesn't seem to be working... so I am currently seeking help from Michael McCune (if he is available to help) with adding them to ACP. I've had to do a lot of editing from what was so easy to do has hook to something more complicated. But it'll make it much much more efficient and to help keep my customers up to date on the development progress, new updates when the become available, and more user friendly if possible.
     
    Here is a small sample of the ACP:

     
    Also, some of you may have noticed that the board index for the Ads say (NG30) Global Ads v1.4.2, but I may just jump from 1.4.2 to 1.5.0 seeing as how this is a complete overhaul from a hook to an application.
     
    Lemme know what you guys think of this. And how I can improve the application.

    I thought I'd introduce a new service for customers.
     
    Introducing Add-On Requests for (NG30) Global Ads & Add-On Requests for (NG30) Rotating Banners.
    With these services, you can request to have an application supported by one of the mods listed above. For example, if you wanted (NG30) Global Ads to support IP.Links sooner than waiting for me to code the mod for it, it can done for a small fee. Fees are listed below:


    Non-refundable Fee & Used as Deposit: $10 USD
    Complexity Of Locations Added: Can range from $5 USD to $20 USD
    Number Of Pages In Application(s): 1 Page - $3 USD | 2 Pages - $5 USD | 3 Pages - $7 USD | 4 Pages - $9 USD + 5% Discount | 5 Pages - $11 USD + 10% Discount | 6 Pages - $13 USD + 15% Discount
    Time Frame Of Completion: Minimum 1 Week - Maximum 2 Weeks
    If Application Requested Is Paid: If the application that is requested to be supported is a paid modification, the paid modification needs to be sent to me through a PM.
    Live Development: During development of your custom request, you can view the development process live on our Demo Board.

    Example Of Discount Process:
    If a customer purchases a 4 pages request, they can get as many locations as they want per page.
    So, pricing would be:


    $10 USD NON-REFUNDABLE + $9 USD - 5%($0.95 USD) = $18.05 USD

    Or if the customer purchases a 5 pages request:


    $10 USD NON-REFUNDABLE + $11 USD - 10%($2.10 USD) = $18.90 USD

    Or if the customer purchases a 6 pages request:


    $10 USD NON-REFUNDABLE + $13 USD - 15%($3.45 USD) = $19.55 USD

     
    So if you would to have custom work done for the one of the above mods, then go ahead and purchase today! :)
     
    Owner's Note: I feel these prices are reasonable enough for Custom Work as they can require extensive coding to accomplish.

    I thought I'd make a blog entry about our new products system that we have installed on the forums. This new system is much much better than our old iCommerce System by -Calypso- from IT (InvisaionTweaks). The new system is designed by Sacred from IPBArab. This new system is all automated to help the customer with purchases, and delivery of the purchased product. If a new customer purchases a product, they will be sent a PM with details on their purchase. Once the purchase has been made, they will be able to download they're purchased product after a total of 24 hours. The new system also supports multiple purchases at once with the Shopping Cart system. The old system did not support this, you had to purchase every item individually.
     
    This system also requires that you fill in every field in your Profile Details page. If you need help on navigating this system, please post a support topic in the Support Forum.

    I thought I'd post a blog entry on the progress of this new mod to come. Progress has been going very smoothly up until about an hour ago. So far, I have two(2) types of scripts done and ready to go. There is an option for custom scripts to be used, but this is the problem I am currently having at the moment. Custom HTML Code does not seem to be parsing correctly when using the STE (Standard Text Editor) in the ACP. The reason I wanting to use the STE is because I want my customers to be able to use Smilies and BBCode inside this mod for the Custom Script section. Whats the point of having a custom script section using the STE without being able to use Smilies or BBCode withinside custom HTML as well. :)
     
    So for the moment, I am currently seeking help on how I would go about getting HTML parsed properly for the custom section. If anyone knows some good PHP, mainly good at IPB coding, that would be willing to help out with this, it would be greatly appreciated. I'll post up some screenshots of the ACP settings by tomorrow so that you can see what all there is to come for this great product.

    The (NG30) Global Ads is nearing the beta 1 stage and during this this stage I have noticed that some search areas did not have ads showing on those sections, so I have now added them. Also, I have almost completely redesigned the mod to the point where template edits are no longer required to display these ads on your board. So far, the only section that still requires template edits is the Portal View. The reason for this is because there are no Data Variables for me to hook into. I have also added two more ad locations to the mod: Messenger View and Profile View, (And I know that some people do not prefer ads on their profile view, but it is an optional location for your convenience). Also, I'll be adding the first official IPS Add-On in the 1.2.0 version of the mod; which will be the IP.Blog Application.
     
    I am also going to try and add Yahoo! Publisher Network ad support for this mod as everyone does not use Google Adverts. This support option may not be available for quite sometime as I am not a YPN customer. But if anyone knows the current correct code to use and would be willing to share it with me, it would greatly help to add this support option to a sooner and much quicker version release. And if no one is a YPN or Google customer and uses a different advert company, and wish that to be supported by this mod, please PM me or comment on this Blog entry and I'll see what I can do to add that advert support option.
     
    Any and all feedback is muchly appreciated and will help with the development of this mod.
