I've run into a little problem with this now... for some odd reason, I can add the ads after every post count on the first 19 posts, but nothing shows up on the 20 or above... I can't seem to figure out why...

This set of two files replaces the XMLRPC interface that ships with IP.Board. It adds the ability to register members and manage member groups over the XML RPC interface. We use this at Fusion Digital to connect our ASP.NET based client area with IP.Board, since Converge isn't an option for non-PHP applications. To Install: * Extract the files in the attached ZIP to the folder /interface/board/modules/ipb. * In ACP, assign permissions for the new functions that appear in the permissions list (if you aren't sure how to do this, search XML-RPC in ACP). Hello, I thought I'd update this topic with some progress on the development process. In the next release, I'll be introducing a new feature for Topic View: "Having Ads Show After X Amount Of Posts". With this feature, you can select from a select amount of posts that you want ads to show after. The total amount that will be selectable is 500 posts. But I have set a minimum of 10 post increments for ads to show. This is done this way for one purpose; so ads show up properly with multiple ads on page. The maximum number of ads that actually show properly on one page is 3. Anything higher does not show. So if you have the "Ads Above Topic", "Ads Above Fast Reply", "Ads Below First Post" with the select amount of X posts, some will not show. So to accommodate for this, you may need to disable the "Ads Above Topic" and "Ads Above Fast Reply" for your ads to show. Also, with the X amount of posts feature, the ad below first post will ALWAYS be displayed regardless of this setting. Also, this new feature requires a template bit edit in "Topic View -> topicViewTemplate". This edit goes in the same spot as a previous edit defined in the ReadMe file. I'd rather have skin edits than file edits for these features. For one, they are easier to access, and two, most people do not like file editing. Hello Mike and welcome to Tiberium Studios! :) Yes, my site is run by IP.Content and yes, I would recommend it. But it requires the user to know basic HTML and CSS knowledge. Also, my site does have a lot of content, which was mainly for Command & Conquer a few years ago, but since then I've decided to sort of switch to mainly gaming. I've been working on getting all the Command & Conquer information added soon, but that was years ago and I haven't done much with it since. I've been hard at work getting a new site up & ready for Xbox gamers. And as for Command & Conquer, I too was sad to hear that Renegade II was canceled. It would have been a great game. Renegade was the last game created by Westwood Studios and was a tribute to the first and start of the C&C franchise, Command & Conquer Tiberian Dawn. Renegade was the best first person shooter for the C&C franchise. They also canceled the Tiberium game, which would have kick some major arse. And in the process of canceling that game, some EA staff were let go. I'm not sure why they had to let the staff go, but oh well. You can even out more about this by searching Wikipedia for Tiberium_(the_game). When I read those articles, I was surprised at EA's actions over a game. And no, you do not need 5 posts to shout in the shoutbox. You only need 5 posts to start downloading from the Downloads Manager and 2 posts between each download. Also, do you live in Canada? If I remember right, Alberta is in Canada, because the US doesn't have a state called Alberta. :lol: And what are the Xbox 360 Development kits? Yes, that is a feature I am currently working on. This feature will require a template bit edit. The edit will be in the same place as a previous edit. I would like to not have template bit edits though, but that is not possible. I know some people have complained to me about there "being too many edits". In which there really isn't, unless you have like 10 - 15 skins installed, then yes there is a lot to do. But the skin edits are required for proper forums distinction. I will hopefully try to get a release out here soon, once IP.Gallery 2.1 is final, probably about 2 weeks after final. This release will also be a maintenance release for IP.Blog and IP.Downloads.
