Global Message in Store

This hook allows you to add a global message on all pages of your IP.Nexus store.

 

The message is displayed in the following areas:

• Store homepage
• When viewing a category
• When viewing a package

The message is not displayed in the following areas:

• When viewing the shopping cart
• During the checkout process
• In the client area

 

Requirements

IP.Nexus - tested on IP.Nexus v1.1.3 but any version should work

 

Installation

Unzip and import the hook.xml file in your ACP as normal.

 

Configuration

Once installed you will find a new option in the IP.Nexus Settings (near the bottom) called "Nexus Store Global Message". This is where you enter the message that you wish to be displayed at the top of your store.

 

You cannot use HTML but you can use all BBCodes, smileys, images, etc. Check out the screenshots for an example.

 

Custimization

The look and feel of the message can be fully customized by editing the following:

 

CSS: cit_nexus_gm.css -> .cit_gm_message_box

Template: skin_nexus_payments -> cit_nexus_gm

 

Here is the default CSS used to style the message:
