Invision Power Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of IP.Content 2.1.0!

 

IP.Content is our community content management system for IP.Board. This product has been hugely successful since its introduction just last year and we are happy to continue to enhance the system based on customer feedback. New features in version 2.1.0 include:

A very powerful feature: embed any IP.Content Block anywhere on the web!

 

Default Interface Design

Redesigned default user interface to make integration of IP.Content pages with IP.Board easier.

 

Block Variable Help

Plain-english explanations of all the various variables available when creating Blocks.

 

Easier Administration

Textual keys for templates, overhauled wizard process, and more to make managing IP.Content easier.

 

Database Improvements

Facebook Like button, Easier Moderation, Pinned articles on frontpage, Frontpage pagination, Database plugin updates

 

Tighter Forum Integration

Better control of topics (can control which fields are included and how they are displayed), Better synchronizing of articles, Ability to re-use topic you promoted from for comments

 

More Control

Configure default area to search, Enable/disable searching per-database, Multiple domain support, SEO enhancements

 

Block Improvements

Release Notes

 

• We have had releases for testing and are confident any major issues have been addressed. However, as this is the first supported release that will be used by thousands of people, there could be as yet undiscovered issues. Please report issues in the bug tracker.

   

• Important technical support note: During the launch of a new product, and the great interest created, support response times (especially for install or upgrade requests) may be delayed. We appreciate your understanding during the launch time.

   

• IP.Content 2.1.0 requires IP.Board 3.1.3 and will not install on prior versions.
