The version number is to match up with the IP.Board version number release. I cannot guarantee backward compatibility with previous versions of IP.Board, so if you try it with older versions, you do so at your own risk.

 

This is Beta 2 and while I'm certain it's pretty much working, I'm not gonna guarantee it yet.

 

 

What this hook does is enable you to add a chat box using the chat service from http://cbox.ws/

 

Currently, this only supports the FREE version, as I don't have a copy of the code for the paid version to work with.

 

 

Features:

On/Off setting - no need to disable the hook, just turn it off.

Chatroom ID - Kind of a requirement ya know

Default colors - can be changed per skin via the skin editor

All three chat choices - iFrame, popout, Xanga

Group control - control who can view/chat

Location - top/bottom and all pages or just board index (hopefully more control in future versions)

 

 

This is also my first hook, so I heavily encourage you to NOT install this on a live board without testing it first.

Beta 2:

- Made it so you can enter the name of your CBox instead of requiring the number. The name is whatever the subdomain assigned to you. Example, in goober.cbox.ws, the name is "goober". You can enter that and it will attempt to get the ID, boxtag and server information for you.

 

- Added settings for Boxtag and Server ID, as they vary between accounts.
