By default, IP.Board shows the topics/posts from all forums when the user uses the search. Using this hook, you will give the user the option to select which forums he wants to see in searchs results (VIEW NEW CONTENT, USER CONTENT and REGULAR SEARCH), directly on User Control Panel. It's very nice to be used on forums with many categories/forums. This hook will give more control to board's administrator in birthday listing (board index sidebar hook and calendar). This simple hook blocks users from registering if they have records on stopforumspam.com. This is an alternative hook to JGrucza's Forum Spammer IP & Email Check via stopforumspam . There are some differences between the two. First mainly being it can use cURL if allow_url_fopen is disabled. Secondly, I needed a whitelist... so that is included.
