Tiberium Studios Submission Guidelines
Do you create resources for IPS products or other products and want to submit them to the Tiberium Studios Downloads System? We accept both free and paid submissions. Here are the guidelines:
Curated
Tiberium Studios will review all submissions into the Tiberium Studios Downloads System to be sure they work as described, work within the IP.Board framework, and do not create issues (such as conflict with other functions or are so inefficient they create server performance problems). This means that we will only accept submissions that are designed to work as IP.Board would intend: hooks, language packs, skin packs, IP.Content blocks/templates, etc. Pretty much anything that can be imported via the AdminCP.
Full applications will also be allowed if they use IP.Board's application framework. We will not accept code-level modifications. Code-level modifications or submissions that do not fit into the description above cannot be in the Tiberium Studios Downloads System. Those types of resources can of course still be offered on your own web sites.
Required Documentation
We require all submissions to include basic documentation on their installation and / or usage. At a minimum, a simple readme.txt explaining how to install the resource is acceptable.
Submission Types
Both free and paid submissions will be accepted. However, submissions to the Tiberium Studios Downloads System must be uploaded and downloaded via the Tiberium Studios Downloads System. We are no longer going to allow "linked" files to third-party web sites. Again, you are free to do this on your own sites.
Those submissions that require payment will be processed through our IP.Commerce installation and Tiberium Studios will receive a small 3% plus $1.00 commission on sales. We are not out to make money off of the Tiberium Studios Downloads System so we chose a very low commission percentage to simply cover our costs.
Support / Update Requirements
Authors that submit to the Tiberium Studios Downloads System would be required to keep their submission up to date as we release updates and provide support as needed (those that don't would be delisted). Authors can provide support on their own site or via support topic on our forums.
Cross-Promotion
We will be allowing, and in fact encouraging, you to promote your own site or any related services you might offer in your resource listing. Let's say you are a skinner that makes pre-made skins for sale but also do custom work. Feel free to put a short promotional message in your resource listing's description stating that fact. We want our customers to find quality resources be that on our site or yours.
De-Listing
Tiberium Studios reserves the right to de-list a file in the Downloads System for any reason including but not limited to: complaints from customers regarding quality of listing, lack of support, lack of updates, copyright infringement, or any other reason that may reflect poorly on Tiberium Studios or the Downloads System.
